All Sales Are Final. We operate a small business and change our inventory frequently. In order to maintain our high standards for quality items, we cannot accept any returns or issue store credit on any of the items listed below.
What happens after I pay and place my order?
- You will receive an email and or a text message letting you know that we received your order & you will also receive a tracking number once we've packaged your items, so you will know when your order will arrive and you can track it.
- Our goal is to process your order as quickly as possible. We may use different shipping carriers and the order could take 3 - 14 business days to arrive in your home. Please know that we will work very hard to ship out all items as quickly as possible.
What happens if I receive a broken or damaged item?
We work very hard to package your items very carefully, but sometimes breakage may occur along the way to your home. Please follow the hassle-free steps below to ensure a quick resolve! We will work very hard to either replace the item, exchange (if possible) or issue store credit.
- Immediately email us (within 3-days from the time you received the item) photos of the package and damaged items to CustomerCare@ShopHouseMarket.com
- Do not throw the items away or discard the packaging and packaging material.
We will contact you during normal business hours (M - F) to let you know what to do next.
- Many of our items on the website are recreated to give a "found object," farmhouse and "used over time" look. The look of these items are not considered defective, but more of a "one-of-a-kind" and unique look.
- Many of our items are made from re-claimed wood and metal to include all of the imperfections. Many of our painted items have been artistically scratched to give it a weathered look to include all of the imperfections.
- The furniture, lighting, decor and other items on our website will have vary in size, colors and finishes to give it the characteristic of being a "found" item or one to resemble something from the past.
Should I use a tractable shipping service or shipping insurance when returning an item? It's up to you. We would recommend that you do that for your records.
Do you offer exchanges? Due to the nature of our products, quantities and one-of-a-kind items, we are unable to offer exchanges. We only offer store credit.
Do you provide refunds? We are so thankful for you supporting our small business. We only offer store credit. We do not offer refunds.

Will House Market pay for my shipping on returned items? It is the customers responsibility to pay for shipping when returning items back to House Market. Shipping will not be refunded on any returned items.
Will House Market provide return shipping labels? We do not provide return shipping labels.
Will I receive a refund or store credit for my return shipping charges? You will not receive a refund or store credit for returning shipping charges.
Do you ship internationally? No. We only ship in the United States.
SHIPPING (Furniture, Lighting, Sconces & Oversized Decor) We charge a flat rate of $120 for deliveries. Some additional charges may vary depending on surcharges from our vendors, order and on your state. Please direct any questions about special deliveries to Help@ShopHouseMarket.com before placing an order. Special white-glove delivery service fees will apply for furniture deliveries.
